By now, you probably know that the Apple company has given the opportunity to install apps only through their AppStore.
The Bloomberg website reports that iOS has not had the ability to sideload apps or use third-party app stores like Android, but now Apple is preparing to provide this ability with the new iOS 17 edition.
However, the report further points out that Apple has taken this decision not for the convenience of users or for the economic well-being of developers, but to comply with the rules brought by the European Union.
Especially the AppStore and its review process, as well as the very long time it takes for the review process, even many of the world's leading companies have accused Apple, but it seems that Apple hasn't worked so far to speed up the process.
In the same way, because of the rules imposed by the European Union for the charging port, it has also been arranged to provide USB Type-C support for the iPhone.
In addition, the Bloomberg report further points out that the European Union will also influence other components of the Apple ecosystem such as the camera, NFC stack and browser engine.
